Bio
Sex Mask are a Melbourne-based Australian act emerging from the underground scene via platforms like Triple J Unearthed. The group consists of Wry Gray, Vinnie Moncada, and Kaya Martin, and they’ve gained attention for their genre-blending sound that mixes indie, punk, and electronic elements. Their music is often described as high-energy and unconventional, combining gritty punk attitude with electronic textures and experimental production. Tracks like “Beheadal” showcase their chaotic, club-influenced edge while still rooted in indie and punk aesthetics. As part of the Triple J Unearthed ecosystem, Sex Mask represent a new wave of Australian independent artists pushing boundaries between live band energy and electronic music styles. Overall, they are known for a bold, hybrid sound that sits between underground punk scenes and electronic club culture.
