Bio
Shepparton Airplane are a Melbourne-based rock band known for their raw, high-energy sound that fuses punk urgency, garage grit, and noise rock intensity. Emerging from Melbourne’s rich underground scene, the band has built a reputation for fierce live performances and powerful, guitar-driven tracks. Formed by members with backgrounds in various local acts, Shepparton Airplane have released multiple albums, including Almurta (2017) and Sharks (2020), gaining strong support from Australia’s alternative music community. Their music captures a distinctly Aussie pub-rock edge while pushing into heavier, more chaotic territory, appealing to fans of Amyl and The Sniffers, The Drones, and Eddy Current Suppression Ring.
