SIGNS OF THE SWARM is a deathcore band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formed in 2014. Known for their brutal, slamming sound and technical intensity, they have become a prominent name in the modern deathcore scene. The band’s current lineup includes vocalist David Simonich, drummer Bobby Crow, guitarist Carl Schulz, and bassist Michael Cassese. Over the years, they have undergone several lineup changes while continuously evolving their sound. They first gained attention with their debut album *Senseless Order* (2016), followed by *The Disfigurement of Existence* (2017), which helped solidify their presence in the underground metal scene. Later releases like *Vital Deprivation* (2019) and *Absolvere* (2021) showcased a heavier and more refined style. In 2023, the band released *Amongst the Low & Empty*, marking a new era under Century Media Records, with a more polished and dynamic approach to deathcore. They continued their momentum with their sixth album, *To Rid Myself of Truth* (2025), further expanding their sound with influences from bands like Meshuggah and Gojira. Renowned for their aggressive breakdowns, guttural vocals, and high-energy live performances, Signs of the Swarm remain a driving force in contemporary deathcore.
