Sir Chloe is an American indie rock project fronted by Dana Foote, formed while Foote was studying at Bennington College in Vermont. The project first gained viral attention with the breakout single “Michelle” in 2021, which became a cult hit on TikTok and streaming platforms for its sharp lyrics and raw emotional tone. Sir Chloe’s sound blends gritty indie rock with melodic alternative pop, often characterized by distorted guitars, understated vocals, and introspective, sometimes confrontational songwriting. Following early EP releases, Sir Chloe released their debut full-length album I Am the Dog in 2023, marking a shift toward a darker, more confident rock sound while maintaining the intimacy of their earlier work. The project has built a strong reputation as a compelling live act, touring internationally and connecting with Gen Z audiences through themes of identity, vulnerability, and emotional intensity.
