Bio
Sky The Dog is an Australian DJ, selector, and event curator known for their emotionally driven club nights and genre-blending sets that sit at the intersection of hyperpop, emo, indie electronic, and underground club music. Based in Melbourne, they are part of a new wave of Australian DJs shaping online-influenced, emotionally charged dance music culture. Their sound and programming style is often described as “sadboi club energy,” combining nostalgic internet-era aesthetics with high-energy DJ sets built for late-night dancefloors. Sky The Dog is recognised for curating themed events that blur the line between party and emotional release, bringing together alternative pop, hyperpop, emo rap, and club edits in a cohesive nightlife experience. Beyond performing, Sky The Dog is also active as a promoter and curator, creating DIY-style club events that spotlight emerging DJs and experimental club sounds within Melbourne’s underground scene.
