Bio
Soft Bait are a four-piece post-punk band from Auckland (Tāmaki Makaurau), New Zealand, known for their sharp lyricism, angular guitar work, driving rhythms, and energetic live performances. Formed in 2022, the band quickly gained attention with early singles before releasing their debut album, Life Advice (2025), which further established their reputation in the New Zealand alternative music scene. Their music blends catchy melodies with witty, observational storytelling and a modern post-punk edge, drawing influence from both classic and contemporary guitar bands.
