Bio
Sons Of The East are an Australian indie-folk trio from Sydney, known for their warm harmonies, acoustic-driven sound, and feel-good storytelling style. Formed in 2011, the band consists of Jack Rollins, Nic Johnston, and Dan Wallage. They blend elements of folk, indie pop, and Americana, creating uplifting tracks often built around fingerpicked guitars, layered vocals, and laid-back rhythms. They first gained attention with early releases like Come Away and My Repair, which helped establish their reputation for emotionally rich songwriting and strong vocal chemistry. Over time, they’ve built an international following through consistent touring and streaming success, with songs that often explore themes of love, longing, and escape. Their music is especially known for its relaxed, coastal vibe that resonates strongly in live acoustic settings and festivals.
