Bio
Spin Doctors are an American rock band formed in 1988 in New York City. They became widely known in the early 1990s for their catchy, blues-influenced alternative rock sound and energetic live performances. The band rose to global fame with their debut album Pocket Full of Kryptonite (1991), which featured major hits like “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.” These songs became international radio staples and helped define early ’90s alternative rock. Their music blends alternative rock, funk rock, and pop rock, often with jam-band style live improvisation. The group was also part of the early 1990s live touring scene alongside other emerging alternative and jam-oriented acts. Over the years, Spin Doctors have gone through lineup changes but continue to tour and release music, maintaining a loyal fanbase and a reputation for fun, groove-driven live shows.
