Bio
Steve White is one of the UK’s most acclaimed drummers, having built his reputation in the 1980s and 1990s through his work with Paul Weller and as part of the British mod/soul revival scene. Later in his career, he formed The Protest Family, a live band project that allows him to step forward from the drum kit and into a broader musical leadership role. The group is rooted in live performance culture, often playing club shows and festival stages with a strong emphasis on musicianship, groove, and energetic ensemble playing.
