Bio
Sundreamer are a progressive modern metal band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia — part of the city’s growing heavy music scene. The four‑piece outfits melodic intensity with ambient textures and heavy riff‑driven compositions, creating a powerful and emotive take on contemporary metal. The band includes Eden (vocals), Jarrah Sofarnos (guitar/composition), Camelia Rose (bass), and Cameron Harris (drums). Formed initially in 2020 as a creative project between Eden and Jarrah, they expanded into a full lineup and have since built momentum with live shows and recorded releases. Sundreamer’s sound blends progressive melodic hardcore and modern metal with ambient layers and emotive vocal delivery, drawing influence from bands such as Northlane, Invent Animate, and This Will Destroy You. Their music often balances crushing heaviness with atmospheric dynamics, making for intense and textured compositions. They released their debut album Flower and Bloom in 2024, a self‑produced record that highlighted their evolving sound and DIY ethos. In 2025, Sundreamer gained further recognition by winning The Bergy Bandroom’s Battle of the Bands, earning recording support and performance opportunities that helped elevate their profile in the Australian metal community.
