Bio
Sunken's music is characterized by tremolo-picked guitars, expansive ambient passages, harsh vocals, and emotionally charged songwriting. Their sound balances the intensity of black metal with the spacious, cinematic qualities of post-rock and shoegaze, making them a notable act within the modern atmospheric black metal scene. The band has earned recognition through releases that emphasize mood and texture as much as aggression, and they are known for powerful live performances that recreate the immersive atmosphere of their recordings.
