Bio
Super Jet Kinoko is a Japanese rock band known for its energetic blend of retro rock sounds and modern indie attitude. Emerging from Japan’s underground rock scene, the group built a reputation for loud, fast, and highly theatrical live performances, drawing influence from classic garage rock, punk, and power-pop traditions. The band’s music combines fuzzy guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and catchy melodic hooks, often delivered with playful, high-energy vocals. Their aesthetic frequently leans toward colorful, slightly psychedelic visuals and a fun, irreverent stage presence that reflects the DIY spirit of Japan’s indie music culture. Super Jet Kinoko gained attention through small club shows, indie festivals, and collaborations within Japan’s alternative rock circuit, where they developed a loyal following among fans of garage-style rock and punk-influenced pop. Their recordings and live sets typically emphasize raw production, upbeat tempos, and a party-like atmosphere, making them a popular act at underground gigs.
