Bio
System Of A Down is a rock/metal band formed in 1994 in Los Angeles by Armenian‑American members. Their music blends metal, alternative rock, and progressive/avant‑garde influences, often with political and socio‑cultural themes. They achieved major success with albums like Toxicity, Mezmerize, and Hypnotize, becoming one of the defining rock bands of the early 2000s. Although the band continues touring intermittently, they haven’t released a full‑length album since 2005’s Hypnotize.
