Bio
Tash Sultana (born 15 June 1995, Melbourne, Australia) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer. They started playing guitar at 3, and over time taught themselves many instruments (guitar, bass, drums, piano, saxophone, trumpet, flute, etc.). Tash first gained wide attention via busking, open mic, street performance, and “bedroom” or live recordings that went viral online. Their 2016 single “Jungle” was a breakthrough hit. Their debut album Flow State came out in 2018; it charted very well in Australia. Later works include Terra Firma (2021) plus EPs and live recordings. Tash is known for their live looping setup: performing many parts themselves, layering instruments live, creating rich textures on stage with minimal backing
