Taylor Acorn is a U.S. singer-songwriter known for her emotionally driven blend of pop-punk, alternative rock, and emo-influenced pop. Born on September 21, 1994, in Lynchburg, Virginia, she began releasing music professionally in 2017 with the country-leaning single “Put It in a Song,” before shifting toward the pop-punk sound that defines her career today. Acorn’s early material combined pop and country influences, but by the early 2020s she leaned fully into pop-punk and emo aesthetics, gaining traction through acoustic covers of classic emo tracks and heartfelt original songs. Her music is characterized by diary-like lyricism exploring mental health, heartbreak, identity, and young adulthood, helping her build a dedicated global fanbase. She broke through with releases such as the Certified Depressant (2023) EP, which led to her first headlining tour and festival appearances. This momentum carried into her full-length debut Survival in Motion (2024) and later the sophomore album Poster Child (2025), showcasing her growth as a pop-punk artist and songwriter. Now based in Nashville, Acorn continues touring internationally and collaborating within the alternative scene, drawing inspiration from artists like Paramore and Avril Lavigne while maintaining a modern, emotionally raw pop-punk sound.
