Bio
The Bures Band are a Perth, Western Australia-based five-piece folk-rock band, formed in 2022. Their music blends Americana, folk rock, blues and psychedelic rock, heavily influenced by the sounds of the 1960s and 1970s. Their style features jangly guitars, rich vocal harmonies, melodic songwriting and a laid-back, retro feel. Their later work expands into cosmic folk-rock, psychedelic country and experimental rock, with their album Fool Circle drawing comparisons to the Laurel Canyon sound and 1970s folk-rock.
