The Double Happiness are a Brisbane-based quartet known for their self-described “surfgaze” sound—a distinctive blend of surf rock, spaghetti-western, post-punk and shoegaze, with jangly guitars, heavy reverb and dreamy vocal harmonies. The band has been active since 2016 and has released albums including Surfgazing, Roadhouse, and SPACETIME. Their latest lineup features Kristin Fergusson, Peter Fergusson, Adele Pickvance and Simon Welchman.
