Bio
The Dums are a four-piece punk rock band from Melbourne/Naarm, Australia, known for their raw energy, experimental approach, and emotionally charged songwriting. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Marven Van Lim, guitarists Taj Robertson and Hayley Jenkins (who also plays trumpet), and percussionist Aliesha Hinton. Their music blends punk intensity with jazz-inspired textures and a fearless, unconventional style, creating songs that are both feral and joyful. Emerging from Melbourne's vibrant St Kilda music scene, The Dums have gained attention through releases such as "Ballad," "Seesaw," and "Coober Pedy," which showcase their blend of punk, rock, jazz, and experimental influences. Their passionate live performances and boundary-pushing sound have established them as an exciting new voice in Australia's independent music scene.
