The Girl From Greece is a live performance project and musical collaboration based in Meanjin (Brisbane), Queensland, Australia, created by singers Katerini Manolatos and Mel Lathouras. It blends their Hellenic cultural heritage with jazz, folk, 1950s–70s pop and classical influences to celebrate Greek music traditions through vibrant live shows and storytelling. The duo’s work includes productions such as *The Girl from Greece – A Tribute to Nana Mouskouri*, which sold out performances at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and features their rich vocal versatility alongside a band of instrumentalists performing Greek favourites and classic repertoire. Their music often pays homage to Greek icons while incorporating soul, jazz and folk elements, connecting cultural roots with contemporary performance.
