Bio
The Knews is the brainchild of Cullen Kiesanowski, a New Zealand-born musician with a notable background in the indie scene. Previously a member of the band Nomad, Cullen achieved significant success, including a gold-selling single and extensive international tours. Seeking a fresh creative direction, he established The Knews as a solo project, allowing for greater artistic freedom. While Cullen writes and records the music, he collaborates with a live band for performances. Musically, The Knews blends elements of indie rock with introspective lyrics and melodic guitar work. Their debut single, "I Don't Like You," showcases their signature sound and has been well-received by audiences. The band is set to release their first EP, No Parties Heaven, on October 3, 2025.
