Bio
The Last Martyr is a Melbourne-based Australian metal band formed around 2019. Fronted by vocalist Monica Strut, their lineup also includes guitar, bass, and drums. They fuse metalcore, nu‑metal, electronic, and dark rock elements to create a heavy, genre-blending sound. Lyrically, they explore themes of apocalypse, environmental destruction, and social issues. Their 2024 EP Requiem exemplifies this focus, and the band has gained national recognition, toured extensively, and performed at major Australian festivals.
