Bio
The Plane Sailors are a Brisbane-based, five-piece indie / emo-inspired rock band. They’ve been together since around 2018. Describing themselves as “the world’s happiest emo band,” they mix emo, math rock, pop‑punk, and alt sensibilities with catchy melodies. Their debut EP, Wouldn’t Be So Lucky, reflects personal themes like bad luck and resilience. They write and record in DIY fashion — much of their music was written and produced in bedrooms in Brisbane. Their sound draws comparisons to bands like Blink‑182, Ball Park Music, and Modern Baseball.
