Bio
The Seven Ups are a seven-piece instrumental heavy groove band from Melbourne, Australia, known for blending funk, afrobeat, psych rock and spiritual jazz into what they describe as “cosmic heavy groove.” Led by guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Trent Sterling, the group features unbridled horn solos, locked-in rhythms and a dancefloor-oriented sound. With five studio albums and festival appearances at events like Meredith Music Festival and WOMADelaide, they’re a showcase of Australian instrumental groove music.
