Bio
The Takes are a four-piece indie rock band from the north-west suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Formed by four longtime friends, the band combines the energy of 1970s garage rock, the attitude of 1990s punk, and the melodic sensibilities of 2000s indie rock. Their sound features raw yet polished guitar work, catchy hooks, and Beatles-inspired songwriting, creating music that feels both fresh and nostalgic. Influenced by bands such as Oasis, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Jet, The Beatles, and AC/DC, The Takes deliver high-energy performances and anthemic rock songs, including their debut single "Move With Me."
