Bio
The Terrys are an Australian indie rock and indie folk band from Gerringong, New South Wales. Formed in 2020, the group consists of Jacob Finch (vocals), Caleb Tasker (lead guitar), Ben Salvatori (rhythm guitar), Cameron Cooper (drums), and Trent Cooper (bass). They developed their sound by jamming together in their shared rental house — affectionately named after their landlord, Terry, which became the band’s name. Blending jangly guitars, laid‑back vocals, and catchy melodies, The Terrys create a sun‑soaked mix of surf‑inspired indie rock with a fresh youthful energy. They released their debut single “Video Games” in 2020 and quickly built a devoted following, leading to multiple charting albums and radio success. Their debut LP True Colour peaked at #17 on the ARIA Albums Chart, and later releases like Skate Pop and their self‑titled third album continued their rising trajectory. Known for energetic live shows and feel‑good tracks, The Terrys have scored spots in triple j’s Hottest 100 and toured nationally — bringing their infectious indie rock sound to stages across Australia and beyond.
