Bio
Thee Gronks are a Brisbane-based garage rock trio known for their raw, chaotic, and self-aware DIY sound. Labelled as “Brisbane’s jankiest garage band,” the group embraces a loud, unpolished style rooted in local underground rock culture. Formed by Kye Widener (guitar, vocals), Jon Budgen (bass, vocals), and Lincoln Widener (drums), the band channels high-energy garage punk attitudes with a loose, gritty approach to songwriting and performance. Operating firmly within the Brisbane DIY scene, Thee Gronks\_ represent a stripped-back, no-frills style of live music—focused on energy, distortion, and attitude over polish.
