Bio
Tinika is a **Melbourne/Naarm‑based DJ, producer, radio presenter, event curator, and DJ educator** deeply rooted in underground club culture. She champions the **UK Funky** scene in Australia and draws on **bass‑driven rhythms**, percussive grooves, and the musical richness of the **Afro Diaspora**, bringing these influences into her DJ sets, productions, and curated events. A proud queer Black woman, Tinika’s artistic practice spans club performances, festival appearances, radio mixes, and original releases — including her *Verve* EP on the London label Funky Adjacent — and she’s been recognised in industry circles such as a nomination for **Music Victoria’s Best DJ 2024**.
