Bio
TOWNS are an Australian pop-punk duo from Adelaide, consisting of Aston Valladares (vocals/guitar) and Dan Steinert (drums). Formed in 2018, they deliver high-energy, hook-driven punk with nostalgic early-2000s influences. Their lyrics explore themes of youth, friendship, suburban life, and the tension between growing up and holding onto youthful identity. Key releases include the EP things you might feel sometimes (2022), the single “Birthdays” (2024), and their debut album sentimental slowdown (2024). Known for energetic live performances and anthemic choruses, TOWNS are a standout in the modern Australian pop-punk scene.
