Bio
Voltstorm is a British heavy metal band formed in London in 2019, combining the energy of classic metal with a modern, melodic edge. The band was founded by vocalist John D. Prasec and guitarist Fred Stigliano, who shared a vision of creating music rooted in traditional heavy metal while incorporating contemporary riffs, anthemic choruses, and technically polished arrangements. Their self-titled debut mini-album (2022) introduced their style to the UK metal scene, showcasing powerful guitar work, driving rhythms, and soaring vocals. Following that, their full-length album Break The Silence (2024) expanded their presence internationally, earning attention for its blend of melodic hooks and heavy metal intensity. Voltstorm has built a reputation for energetic live performances, performing at underground venues and festivals, and steadily growing a fanbase in Europe. Lyrically, their songs explore personal and social themes, giving their music both emotional depth and stage-ready power. Musical Style: A blend of classic heavy metal, melodic metal, and power metal, with clear influences from Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, and Metallica, yet infused with their own contemporary sound.
