Bio
Wade Forster is a rising Australian country singer-songwriter known for his warm baritone voice, heartfelt storytelling and modern take on traditional country music. Hailing from Winton in Outback Queensland, Wade grew up surrounded by rodeo culture, wide-open landscapes and the kind of real-life stories that shape his songwriting today. He first made his mark by winning the 2023 Toyota Star Maker competition at the Tamworth Country Music Festival — a pivotal launchpad that has helped shape some of Australia’s most recognised country artists. His music blends classic Australian country influences with contemporary production, drawing on themes of family, resilience, love, distance and the quiet poetry of rural life. Since then, Wade has been touring across Australia, building a reputation for warm, genuine live performances that connect deeply with audiences. With a sound rooted in authenticity and storytelling, Wade Forster represents the new generation of Australian country artists carrying the tradition forward.
