Bio
War Bear are a 5‑piece heavy music band from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, blending metal, hardcore, and punk into an aggressive and high‑energy sound. They’ve been active on the Australian underground scene since at least 2022–2023, gaining momentum with releases like the EP Wrecked ’Em and subsequent singles that showcase driving riffs, breakdown‑heavy arrangements, and raw emotional intensity. The band has toured Australia’s east coast and supported heavier touring acts such as No Bragging Rights and Bleeding Through, building a reputation for brutal live performances and DIY touring ethos. War Bear’s music appeals to fans of modern metalcore and hardcore punk with catchy but crushing songwriting.
