Bio
Waterbaby (real name Kendra Egerbladh) is a Stockholm‑based singer‑songwriter known for her intimate, emotive style of indie and alternative pop music. She first gained attention with her 2023 EP Foam, released on the legendary indie label Sub Pop, and has since developed her sound into deeply reflective and lush arrangements blending bedroom pop, alt‑R&B, acoustic elements, and expressive vocals. Her music often explores memory, introspection, and emotional vulnerabilities, with tracks featuring organic instrumentation alongside subtle electronic textures. Waterbaby’s creative process sometimes involves improvising lyrics and intimate vocal takes that give her recordings a natural, close‑up feel. In 2026 she released her debut full‑length album Memory Be a Blade, a somber, reflective work that has been highlighted for its emotional depth and lyrical honesty, further establishing her as an evolving voice in the alternative pop world.
