We Set Signals are a Brisbane-based Australian post-hardcore and alternative rock band formed in 2013. Originally starting as a covers project, the band quickly evolved into an original act after releasing their debut EP *Break These Walls*, gaining attention from *triple j Unearthed*, Blunt Magazine, and Hysteria Magazine. The band became widely known online through their heavy punk-pop cover of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” which attracted hundreds of thousands of YouTube views and helped establish them within the Australian heavy alternative scene. Their music combines emotional melodies, aggressive breakdowns, soaring choruses, and modern metalcore influences. We Set Signals have toured alongside major punk and post-hardcore acts including The Amity Affliction, Funeral for a Friend, and Alesana. They were also included in the BIGSOUND 50 emerging Australian artists list in 2020.
