While She Sleeps is a British metalcore band formed in Sheffield in 2006. The current lineup includes: Lawrence "Loz" Taylor – lead vocals Sean Long – lead guitar, backing vocals Mat Welsh – rhythm guitar, vocals Aaran McKenzie – bass Adam "Sav" Savage – drums The band began with vocalist Jordan Widdowson but transitioned to Taylor in 2009. They are known for their DIY ethos, building a dedicated fanbase through extensive touring and a strong online presence. While She Sleeps has released six studio albums: This Is the Six (2012) Brainwashed (2015) You Are We (2017) So What? (2019) Sleeps Society (2021) Self Hell (2024) Their music blends metalcore with elements of electronic and experimental sounds, addressing themes like mental health and personal struggles.
