Bio
Worm Girlz are a Brisbane (Meanjin)-based Australian rock band and self-described "supergroup" known for their sharp lyricism, infectious hooks, and high-energy performances. Formed by Jade Montgomery, Angie Gale, Isabella Wood-de-Melo, Lauren Rowe, and Nikolai Bray, the band blends punchy guitars with witty, relatable songwriting inspired by everyday frustrations and female empowerment. Drawing comparisons to Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Cry Club, and Teenage Joans, Worm Girlz have quickly emerged as one of Australia's exciting new indie rock acts through their growing catalogue of singles and acclaimed live shows.
