Bio
YEEVS are a three-piece indie rock band from Sydney, Australia, known for their cathartic energy, melodic guitars, and emotionally charged songwriting. Emerging from the local DIY scene, the group built a strong following through raw, high-energy performances and a series of acclaimed releases that blend the grit of post-punk with the heart of alternative rock. Their debut full-length album Yeevs (2019) introduced their signature sound — angular guitars, impassioned vocals, and themes of disillusionment and hope. The band’s follow-up release, The Borderline, Thereabouts (2024), showcased a more mature and introspective direction, highlighting their evolving songwriting and atmospheric production. Often compared to acts like Gang of Youths and Cloud Nothings, YEEVS have established themselves as one of Sydney’s standout live acts, praised for their intense stage presence and emotionally raw performances across Australia’s indie circuit.
