Bio
Your French Girlfriend are a London‑based musical band formed around the songwriting duo Ethan Faith and Philippa Knox, now performing with a full six‑piece ensemble. They first emerged on the UK live scene with their debut single Mary, blending melodic indie/soft rock with jazz‑tinged instrumentation and thoughtful, romantic songwriting. Their early releases — including Mary, Secrets, and the swooning ballad Can’t Stop Loving You — showcase lush arrangements with piano, saxophone, and vocal harmonies that harken to classic soft rock and jazz‑pop influences, while still feeling contemporary and heartfelt. The band has built a reputation for emotive live performances across London and for crafting songs that balance storytelling with rich, cinematic soundscapes.
