Bio
Zemlja is an Australian rock band formed in Perth, Western Australia. They are known for their energetic live performances and a sound influenced by classic rock with a multicultural twist. The band originally came together about four years before their interview in 2017, formed by local musicians—many of whom were inspired by nostalgia for the former Yugoslavia community living in Perth. Their goal was to bring that cultural memory and energy into live rock music performances in Australia.
