£2 WEDS: Mortagh + ASTRIID + Doubt Point

Short Waves Presents: 2 WEDS

‐Mortagh:

Mortagh is an alt-indie soul outfit emerging from London. They blend the harsh and hazy sounds of artists like King Krule with warm, punchy rhythms bolstered by a front man that knows how to move. Along with their sound, you can expect them to bring the homely atmosphere of friends, taking nothing too seriously except the music.

‐ASTRIID:

ASTRIID moves sonically through dark, experimental electronic worlds, weaving ethereal, light-filled vocals through shadowy textures and immersive production. Her lyrics are born from big feelings, intimate, raw and emotionally charged, creating music that lives in the space between vulnerability and intensity.

‐Doubt Point:

Doubt Point is a new band from North London featuring members of terracettes and Alien Chicks. Playing pop songs that retain the intensity of their parent groups.
