Byrne's Night

Troxy must be the place! Its that time of year again: David Byrnes Night is back, the worlds first and only genre-defying celebration of two Scottish icons, Robert Burns and David Byrne (born in Dumbarton, look it up!).

What began as a yearly sell-out at Hackneys MOTH Club has grown into one of Londons most talked-about nights, with stops at Green Man, Wide Awake and Rough Trade East along the way. 2026 saw Byrnes Night sell out KOKO before taking to the Latitude Festival stage immediately after David Byrne himself, as well as making its international debut at Irelands All Together Now Festival.

Now, our Once In A Lifetime Night takes over East Londons iconic Troxy on 23rd January 2027.

Join some of Londons finest musicians for a night of David Byrne / Talking Heads / adjacent covers and a proper Burns Night celebration honouring Scotlands national bard and one of its most inventive musical exports.

Hosted by North London drag royalty Ash Kenazi, and soundtracked by rotating house bands featuring members of:
