Renowned for her richly personalised, effortless style of hook-rich songcraft, British artist Clara La San is one of the most magnetic names shaping the sound of modern R&B.
In a special show at Metro Theatre, Clara La San brings her singular talents to Vivid Sydney.
A producer, songwriter, composer and singer with close to a billion global career streams across her catalog, Clara La San has developed a resounding reputation for writing and arranging songs that feel instantly familiar and timeless, with a distinctly fresh appeal.
After years of building underground acclaim and fan anticipation, Clara La San released her highly anticipated debut album Made Mistakes in 2024 to praise from FADER, Office, Paper Mag, Nylon and more.
Later that year, she officially re-released her celebrated 2017 mixtape, Good Mourning — a reimagined version of the original marking a significant moment in her artistic evolution sharing the mixtape as she always intended it to be heard and seen.
While her music is steeped in a holistic listening of myriad musical strands—from early aughts R&B to contemporary rap instrumentals—Clara La San braids her influences with inspirations from cinema scores and up-to-the-second sound design to express a singular style of electro-soul and pop.
Her palpable style is matched by a rare ability to conceive top-line vocal melodies, layered with lush harmonies that instantly imprint on the memory and have kept her growing, devoted fan base, including many other artists and peers, returning for more.
