daisy*

CTRL-ALT FREQ presents

Adapting her process around being a mother, daisy∗ is created in fragmented states, not flow states. Its fresh and aerodynamic. Its pure & pretty energy. Its looping beats round and round whilst her son plays, scheming release ideas while he sleeps, building a play pen in the studio.

As daisy∗ transitions into this new chapter, she has found herself inspired by things that are both authentic and performed, and explore the strangeness of mundane life, such as How To with John Wilson, Nathan Fielders The Rehearsal, that movie about Joaquin Phoenix becoming a rapper, Synecdoche, New York, The Blindboy Podcast and her everyday life.
