Discothèque Tropicale 4th Birthday: JOSH FB, Caldo Verde, Lauren Beavs, Lena C,Fred Salt,

London-based record label and party Discothèque Tropicale returns to Grow Hackney to celebrate its fourth anniversary, bringing together its resident DJs and special guests for a night of tropical sounds and musical discoveries from around the world.

Made up of a collective of avid record diggers, Discothèque Tropicale is known for its wide-ranging selections, connecting Brazilian axé, zouk and soca from the Antilles, US boogie, gospel and rare groove, Congolese soukous and deep Italo disco cuts. Following a brilliant party at Grow earlier this year, they're back to heat up the dancefloor during the colder months.

For this special birthday edition, residents Lena YAC, Fred Salt, Josh FFB and Omar Sultani are joined by Lauren Beavis and a very special guest travelling over from Portugal.

Caldo Verde (Diogo) is a DJ and collector with a deep knowledge of PALOP music and Cabo Verdean coladeira rhythms. A longtime friend and musical inspiration to Discothèque Tropicale co-founder Josh FFB, Diogo first introduced Josh to zouk and a whole world of music that would go on to influence the parties Discothèque Tropicale throw today. This will be his first time playing in the UK, making the birthday celebrations even more special.

Four years of digging, collecting and sharing music, celebrated with friends old and new on the Grow dancefloor.
