Inspiral Carpets (UK) The Singles Tour

Metropolis Touring presents
INSPIRAL CARPETS
(UK)
The Singles Tour
Madchester royalty return! Inspiral Carpets are part of Manchester's holy trinity with the Stone Roses and Happy Mondays and will bring The Singles Tour to Australia and New Zealand this April and May.
Back in the early ’90s, when Madchester was at its peak, Inspiral Carpets were perhaps best known for their “cool as fuck” T-shirts, which were essential wear for any young indie fan looking to annoy their parents.
Expect the hits, and nothing but the hits, including
This Is How It Feels
,
Saturn 5
,

,

Dragging Me Down + More…
you will be reminded of just how great they are and how many of their songs you know and love!
“Inspiral Carpets were perhaps the best singles band of the Madchester era” (Pitchfork)
Since reuniting, the band has sold out shows across the UK and Europe as well as a bunch of Australian dates on their 2023 tour. Keyboard player Clint Boon says the live show is the strongest it has been “We’re on fire at the moment. We’re playing better than ever, and I think we’re appreciating it more, too… It’s brilliant that we’re still here doing it”. Critics say “This is arguably the best I’ve seen the Inspiral Carpets over the decades…

ends the set, blowing the roof off the venue” (Louder Than War)
Dig out your Cool as Fuck T-shirt that your parents didn’t approve of and get ready for their trademark vocal harmonies and the unmistakable swirl of Clint Boon’s organ…  bucket hats welcome.
