Maverick Sabre

Born in Stoke Newington and raised in County Wexford after moving to Ireland at the age of four, Maverick Sabre developed an early passion for music through the blues, folk, and country records introduced by his father.

As a teenager, he immersed himself in Ireland’s burgeoning hip-hop scene, building a reputation as both an artist and producer while crafting beats and refining a sound that would eventually become uniquely his own.

Drawing inspiration from artists as varied as The Stone Roses, The Beatles, Tupac, Cymande, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, and Nas, Sabre has spent more than a decade blending these influences into a distinctive and unmistakable style.

Today, singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Maverick Sabre stands as one of Ireland’s most celebrated contemporary artists.
