Nolais is a 23-year-old alternative R&B artist from London whose music blends emotional vulnerability with immersive, understated production. Originally from Amsterdam and of Surinamese and Nigerian heritage, his artistry is shaped by a mix of cultural influences and deeply personal storytelling. Rooted in soft melodies, lo-fi textures, and introspective lyricism, Nolais creates music that feels intimate and conversational, less like performance art, more like emotional honesty set to sound.

He began teaching himself production during the 2021 pandemic, building his sound from a bedroom studio in North-West London alongside friends collaborating over Zoom and Discord.
