The band name Kill Your Boyfriend is taken from a graphic novel created by Grant Morrison and Philip Bond published by Vertigo (DC Comics)In September 2011 they self-produced their 6 songs EP and started playing live in clubs and festivals around, but it was with their first album S / T released by Shyrec (IT) in 2013 that the band started to be recognized and played over 80 shows in Europe (especially in Germany).2015 was the year of the 10? split with New Candys and their second album The King is Dead(Shyrec). In the same year the band toured opening also for bands like The KVB and Zola Jesus. From 2016 to 2018 Kill Your Boyfriend performed extensively throughout Europe and in Russia. Born from a friendship created in Manchesters underground, Neu Oscuro cross oceans to bring you a dark sound which, as the name suggests, is both new and obscure.

For the uninitiated, Neu Oscuro was born out of friendship forged in the dank Manchester underground music scene, and with a range of continental influences, psych styles and dark post-punk vibes evident, the bands sound is largely built upon the murkier side of frontman Rhys Bloodjoys solo work.

Together, with Le Crowley (Astral Elevator) and the much sought after David Sheffield (Bones Shake) both on percussive duties, the trio reveal a dangerous and bare-bones side to Bloodjoys already intense style of musicstill utilising sophisticated loops, but with the addition of primitive live drums and deep synth basslines.

Exuding darkness and mystique, Neu Oscuro have big plans, with the vinyl release/ Desolation EP (Sister 9) marking the start of their domination.
