Stellar Moon & The Dark Knights supported by Marni Dascha
Stellar
Moon
is powerful Nyikina artist weaving songlines, story and spirit through a rich fusion of soul, roots, blues and funk. Grounded in culture, connection and raw human truth,
Stellar
Moon
’s commanding vocals and emotionally charged storytelling create performances that are both deeply moving and unforgettable.
Joined by her dynamic 7-piece Kimberley band, The Dark Knights, the live show pulses with deep grooves that shake and stir, leaving audiences awakened, moved and inspired.
Opening the evening is another Kimberley gem,
Marni Dascha
.
Marni grew up immersed in live music, joining her dad's local bands as lead vocalist while still in high school. Around the same time, she began writing her own original songs, developing a sound shaped by blues, roots, reggae and rock.
Now based between Broome and Perth while studying at WAAPA, Marni is quickly establishing herself as one of the Kimberley's exciting emerging artists. Her powerful voice effortlessly shifts from silky smooth to raw and gritty, delivering performances filled with honesty, soul and unmistakable presence.
Don't miss the chance to discover one of the next generation of Kimberley songwriters before
Stellar
Moon takes the stage.
“
Stellar
Moon
is building a catalogue that doesn’t shy away
from darkness but insists on hope cutting through.”
