Sweetnighter: New Cycles

Sweetnighter is a monthly party created by SweetNightJoe, aka Joseph Russell, in London.

We bring people together to celebrate musical expression through the love of vinyl - an all-welcome dance floor where global grooves, cosmic jazz/funk, disco, and soulful sounds intertwine, all strictly on wax.

January marks a turning point. Not the rush of beginnings, but the quiet power of renewal - the moment where intention sets in, and new cycles begin to take shape.

For this special night, I’m joined by My Analog Journal (MAJ) - returning to Sweetnighter for a 100% rare-vinyl special set.

Together, we’ll guide you through a six-hour vinyl journey - from meditative rhythms and slow-burning grooves to expansive, uplifting dancefloor moments. Music that circles back on itself, builds momentum, and opens the door to what comes next.

A night for fresh intentions, open hearts, and shared movement.

Dancing is a magical and liberating ritual.

See you on the dance floor.
