HOSTED BY RACHEL WITHERS, GUESTS THIS MONTH ARE KOS SAMARAS, SAHANA RAMESH, SHIMA IBUKI, AND 1 MORE SPECIAL GUEST TBA!
This November’s Victorian state election is shaping up to be the most chaotic in recent memory, with three- and four-cornered contests unfolding in all directions across the state. With a tired and unpopular Labor government and an ascendant One Nation, a reinvigorated Greens and a finally functional (seemingly) Coalition, the shape of Victoria’s next parliament is anyone’s guess.
Will Labor’s “red wall” hold up in the west, or has it become, as Kos Samaras has called it, a "red barb wire fence"? Will independents give the Libs a run for their money in the leafy east? Can the Greens expand their footprint in the north? And what the hell is going on in the south?
Joining us for dinner, pollster Kos Samaras (swooping in from the north), a very special guest, (via the south), “West Party” upper house candidate Sahana Ramesh (from guess where. OK, it's the west.), and independent Shima Ibuki who's not only the Deputy Mayor of Boroondara, but is also running for the seat of Hawthorn, (repping the east).
